Role Summary
Working in Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) with Vets Now is an interesting, varied and highly rewarding environment, giving you a unique chance to utilise and develop a very broad range of surgical and medical skills.

Working as sole charge Vet, alongside a Receptionist and Veterinary Nurse, this rewarding hands-on role includes all aspects of anaesthesia, surgery and clinical procedures. Due to the nature of ECC medicine, shift caseloads are challenging, but you will be equipped with the facilities, training and support network to handle any case with the highest standards.

Role Requirements
You must be fully qualified and RCVS registered and UK graduates must have successfully completed the RCVS PDP OR have two years experience in small animal practice. Overseas graduates must have two years experience in small animal practice with at least 6 months being within an English speaking environment. You should also be comfortable working sole charge and confident in your clinical ability.

Clinic Description
Our clinic in Lincoln provides excellent working conditions and this modern hospital (teir 3) is a very well equipped practice. You will have access to a full range of emergency equipment, including ultrasound equipment, multi-parameter monitor, I Stat machine, IDEXX machine and much more! For surgical cases the host practice offer 3 theatres, orthopaedic, soft tissue and dental respectively. Working Pattern
We would consider Full or Part Time, as a rough guide, full time at Vets Now typically means an average of just 3 night shifts per week with a share of weekend days & public holiday days and Part Time can vary from working 1 to 2 nights per week.

Shift times are a share of: Monday to Friday nights from 7pm to 8.30am, Saturday night 6pm-9am and Sunday night 6pm to 9am), plus a share of weekend day shifts (Saturdays 12noon-6pm, Sundays 9am-6pm) and your share of bank holidays.
