Role Summary
Working in Emergency and Critical Care (ECC) with Vets Now is an interesting, varied and highly rewarding environment, giving you a unique chance to utilise and develop a very broad range of surgical and medical skills.
Working as sole charge Vet, alongside a Receptionist and Veterinary Nurse, this rewarding hands-on role includes all aspects of anaesthesia, surgery and clinical procedures. Due to the nature of ECC medicine, shift caseloads are challenging, but you will be equipped with the facilities, training and support network to handle any case with the highest standards.
Role Requirements
You must be fully qualified and RCVS registered and UK graduates must have successfully completed the RCVS PDP OR have two years experience in small animal practice. Overseas graduates must have two years experience in small animal practice with at least 6 months being within an English speaking environment. You should also be comfortable working sole charge and confident in your clinical ability.

Vets Now Telford opened in September 2005 and is one of our smaller clinics with just 6 permanent members of staff contributing to its pleasant atmosphere. Based in a friendly and inclusive private practice, the clinic offers great facilities in modern well equipped premises with an excellent layout - the prep room and kennels has just been redecorated so the clinic looks great! Moreover the small team means that the Vets Now Telford family have got to know each other and the host practice staff well and subsequently created an extremely supportive and flexible work environment. Working Pattern
Rotas are managed at local level by the Senior Veterinary Surgeon. As a rough guide, full time at Vets Now typically means an average of 3 night shifts per week with a share of weekend days & public holiday days. Part-time and fixed-term contract would also be considered for this vacancy.
