Join us for our Full Day CPD event: A Breath of Fresh Air dedicated to respiratory case management and hands‑on CPR training.
Throughout the day, we’ll guide you through every stage of respiratory care, from admission and diagnostic imaging to surgical intervention and the management of potential complications. You’ll hear directly from our ECC, Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Imaging teams, giving you a comprehensive overview from all areas of the hospital.
You’ll also have the opportunity to take part in practical sessions, including an in‑depth, interactive CPR workshop!

Delegates to arrive from 9.30 am
Room 1
Respiratory cases
- 10 am – 11 am – Lecture 1: Approach to the Dyspnoeic patient by David (ECC)
- 11 am – 11.30 – tea break
- 11.30 – 12.30 – Lecture 2: Thoracic Imaging by Pedro (Imaging)
- 12.30-1.30 pm LUNCH
- 1.30-2.30 – Lecture 3: Cardiac causes of dyspnoea by James (PAH and Cardiac) (Cardiology)
- 2.30 3.30 – Lecture 4: Surgical Management of Pleural Space Diseases by Paul (Surgery)
- 3.30 – 4 pm – tea break
- 4 – 5 pm – Lecture 5: Chronic Respiratory Cases (Ollie and James to agree on details) (Internal Medicine)
Room 2
- 10 am – 12.30 pm (with a small comfort break) CPR theory and practical
- 12.30-1.30 pm – LUNCH
- Afternoon session
- Participants will receive a card in the morning to submit a case query or question for the specialists. A selection of these will be discussed during the session.
