Feline infectious peritonitis; an update Synopsis

Limited spaces available, book your evening CPD today

Our free CPD will be held at Manchester Hospital and will be hosted by Beth Thomas RVN VTS (SAIM) Medicine Nurse.

Feline coronavirus (FCoV) is extremely virulent within the cat population; especially within colonies and multi-cat households. A rare mutation of this virus leads to the collection of clinical signs that we know as feline infectious peritonitis (FIP). Previously a diagnosis of FIP was often considered terminal, however in the last couple of years treatment options have become available. This has revolutionized the way we are able to care for these cases and is an exciting new step forward within veterinary medicine.

There will be an optional tour that will be done from 18:30, then to start at 19:00 – 20:00.
