Great Western Exotics is looking to employ a specialist or experienced advanced practitioner to join our team in Swindon. Based in Wiltshire, Great western Exotics provides a specialist led first opinion and referral exotic animal service across the south of England.

We are a 24/7 exotic only veterinary hospital – staffed exclusively by exotic animal vets and nurses. We have a well-established residency training programme, and professional development is at the core of our hospital. The hospital has all the expected facilities and more – four dedicated exotic wards, CT, fluoroscopy, digital radiographs, flexible and rigid endoscopy.

The case load is incredibly varied including privately owned pets and a number of zoological collections. The practice also has close ties with local wildlife charities. We pride our self in offering 24/7 365 day a year care, and vets work as part of a 1/4 OOH rota.

This role would suit someone looking for a full-time position however hours and working pattern will be agreed to suit the successful candidate.
