A Vet Surgeon in Southampton will find challenging cases and situations far removed from day practice – perfect for learning and career development. Our seasoned team of RVNs as well as our highly experienced Senior Vet will support you. Our clinic in Southampton has an exciting and diverse caseload which is a great opportunity to hone your ECC skills.

AdvantEdge – the next step in your career

The AdvantEdge programme contains a minimum of 75 hours of free CPD designed and delivered by veterinary. The lectures and practical sessions are delivered by Advanced Practitioners and experienced emergency clinicians at our training facility in Dunfermline. Topics covered include blood gas analysis, managing shock and neurological emergencies as well as practical sessions on CPR and ultrasound. The programme culminates in a cadaver surgery practical followed by six mentored shifts in clinic.

Kick-start your Vets Now career and get paid from day one

We’ll cover your accommodation costs whilst you are on the programme and even pay you to take part – you’ll be a Vets Now employee from day one of the course. The next intake of AdvantEdge is on11th November 2019, however, there is the option of starting employment prior to the programme commencing.
