Roving Vet Surgeon

Being a Roving Vet Surgeon with Vets Now is ideal for those vets that thrive in an ever-changing environment and relish being mobile. This is an opportunity for a self-motivated and self-sufficient vet to work from a number of ECC clinics and gain exposure to different teams and a variety of cases (private and PDSA).

Diverse caseload and teams

This role could entail working in our clinics in Colwyn Bay, Liverpool, Preston, Stoke, Telford, Warrington or Wrexham and will involve 12-15 shifts a month. The rota will be managed by the District staff and although there may be occasional short-notice alterations to shifts, you will usually know 3 months in advance where/when you are working. As much attention will be given to forward filling of shifts as possible, as well as grouping shifts together to reduce travel. Part time will be considered for the right candidate.

Out of hours doesn’t necessarily mean out-of-reach

You will fully supported by our District Vet, Senior Vets, nursing experts and clinical support teams in every clinic. Whether it’s sharing best practice or seeking advice on a particularly complex case, you will never be alone at Vets Now.
