Area Clinical Manager
Location: Remote – with regular travel to clinics in Scotland, Northern England, Surrey, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire areas

Salary: Up to £85,000 DOE plus benefits

About the Role:

We’re looking for an inspiring and supportive clinical leader, who will provide coaching, mentoring, and who will oversee and guide clinical KPIs and benchmark patient care. You’ll work in partnership with our clinics to build and maintain strong relationships and further advance a culture of learning and clinical excellence. Ultimately you’ll be responsible for delivering our clinical strategy and actively seek to drive improvements in our clinical standards and our client and patient care and experience. You’ll do this by:

  • Leading and embedding a strong, compassionate learning culture across clinics.
  • Providing mentoring and coaching to support career development.
  • Driving improvements in clinical standards, governance, and patient care benchmarking.
  • Delivering clinical KPIs and quality improvement initiatives across your area.
  • Working closely with Area Directors and senior clinical management to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Responding to clinical complaints and support clinics in showcasing their strengths.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon (essential).
  • Experienced in Out of Hours Emergency and Critical Care (minimum 2 years).
  • Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and motivating teams.
  • An excellent communicator, able to give constructive feedback and drive improvements.
  • Committed to professional and ethical standards, with a proven track record in productivity and handling clinical complaints.
  • Ideally holding further qualifications (ECC certificate, leadership or coaching).
