Weekend Vet Surgeon

Up to £30ph DOE plus benefits

Make your weekends work at Vets Now Farnham

Whether you’re new to Emergency and Critical Care and looking for a tailored approach to your development or ready to hit the ground running, Vets Now Farnham has the perfect opportunity for you. You can commit to working as little as one weekend shift per month.

Build your ECC career around your lifestyle

Out of hours doesn’t need just mean working nights. Our clinic in Farnham has opportunities for a dynamic and confident Vet Surgeon to commit to working as little as one Saturday or Sunday shift per month. If you’re balancing a busy lifestyle, raising a family, looking to earn extra income or simply missing the thrill of emergency cases, weekend working could be perfect for you.

Develop your skills with a diverse caseload

Vets Now Farnham has a private, diverse caseload and you will be continually challenged medically and surgically. Weekends and Bank Holidays tend to be busier, however you will be supported and mentored in clinic by your Senior Vet and will have the opportunity to advance your career through development or studying towards a certificate if you chose to do so.

A stable and regular income

Working one or two weekend shifts over the course of a month and covering the odd bank holiday allows a great work/life balance. Regardless of the hours you can commit to, we can offer a full package of benefits that could include:

•           6.6 weeks annual leave
•           Pension contributions
•           Professional membership fees
•           Private Health Care Insurance
•           50% discounted staff pet care plan
•           Death in service of twice your annual salary
•           Membership of employee wellbeing programme
•           Company sick pay scheme
•           Company maternity, paternity and adoption pay scheme
•           Your birthday as a day off

Our clinical staff are also encouraged to attend our annual ECC Congress, the largest in the UK, which features an array of international accredited speakers, delegates and exhibitors.

Making the move to Emergency and Critical Care or taking on a second job isn’t always easy but we will support you along the way. Please get in touch with Anne in our Talent Team to discuss on 01383 841181 or email [email protected]
