A work life a little more extraordinary
Vets Now Thamesmead is a fully equipped emergency and ECC PSS awarded clinic and we’re looking for a Vet to provide additional support at the time when it’s needed most. Ideally, we’re looking for a Vet to work two full weekends of dayshifts a month and a share of bank holidays but will consider those looking for one shift a month only.

Whether you are balancing a busy lifestyle, raising a family, studying, looking to earn extra income or simply missing the thrill of emergency cases, weekend working could be perfect for you. Regardless of the amount of hours you can commit to, we will provide a regular and stable income alongside a full package of benefits.

Celebrating our successes
As well as providing a competitive package of rewards and benefits, we also take pride in celebrating our successes. This includes hosting an annual awards ceremony for those who have exceeded expectations. Clinical staff are also encouraged to attend our annual ECC Congress, the largest in the UK, which features an array of internationally accredited speakers, delegates and exhibitors.
Out of hours doesn’t necessarily mean out of reach
The Thamesmead team is complimented by a strong nursing team and the Senior Vet will mentor, support and offer guidance when dealing with surgeries. The wider network of emergency clinics and specialty hospitals work in collaboration to ensure that we can offer the best emergency and critical care in the country. Whether it’s sharing best practice or seeking advice on a particularly complex case, you will never be alone at Vets Now.
Making the move to ECC or taking on a second job isn’t always easy but we will support you along the way. Please get in touch with Anne in our Talent team to discuss permanent weekend opportunities on 01383 841181 or email [email protected]
