No matter where you are in your clinical career, if you think ECC might be right for you there’s a way to find out. Our placements, internships and Edge programmes give both early career and experienced vets a way to learn more about what it’s like to work in our clinics and hospitals while gaining confidence in their skills.
Students and Early Career
Vets Now offer several ways to get an idea of what it’s like to work in ECC while sharpening your skills. Learn more about our opportunities for vet and vet nurse students, prospective students, and recently-qualified vets.
Edge
If you’re a qualified vet thinking about making the move to ECC, our unique Edge programmes can help you gain confidence in your skills and refresh your knowledge of critical care. In Cutting Edge you’ll spend the first ten weeks of your new role learning everything you need to know about life in ECC. AdvantEdge is a two-week course for vets with daytime experience who want to brush up on ECC.
Internships
At Vets Now, we offer both rotating small animal internships and discipline-specific internships that provide qualified veterinary surgeons with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop and expand their knowledge in veterinary medicine.
Experienced Clinicians
Vets with a few years of experience who want to study up on ECC before started at Vets Now, get started with our AdvantEdge programme, or, aternatively, experienced vets and vet nurses can apply directly to our current vacancies. We support flexible working, so if you’re not seeing a work pattern or location that suits your needs at the moment please reach out to [email protected] for a chat.
