Up to £29,335 DOE plus benefits and a 10% bonus for working OOH

Vets Now are the UK’s leading provider of emergency pet care. Due to continued growth in our state-of-the-art 24/7 hospital, we are looking to add to the existing out-of-hours team. Our out-of-hours team is here to provide an emergency service at nights, weekends, and bank holidays and to ensure continuity of care for inpatients that have been seen by our referral team.

This role will form part of a dedicated team of ICU nurses who provide care throughout the night to our inpatients. These inpatients will come from our emergency and critical care service as well as looking after referral patients from our internal medical and surgery service. The role will include:

Inpatient care to a range of patients.
Administering blood transfusions.
Providing care to intubated or ventilated patients.

Potential candidates will be passionate about the care they deliver and have a real enthusiasm for learning with the ability to work within a fast-paced emergency service.

Working pattern

4 shifts on / 4 shifts off working 11-hour shifts. Shift times will be a rotating pattern of 15:00 to 02:00 and 22:00 to 09:00.
