Join us at Vets Now and become a pivotal part of our dedicated team, revolutionising emergency and critical care (ECC) for pets across the UK. We partner with local veterinary practices to provide their clients with a dedicated out-of-hours service. At the heart of this is a team of full-time vets, vet nurses, and support staff who only work at nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
We are looking for an experienced In-house or Agency Recruiter to join the Vets Now Talent team. You will have full responsibility for filling a UK-wide training programme, twice a year, with Vet Surgeons of varying skill set and experience. As expected with campaign-led recruitment, candidate focus is key and it’s essential that you can shape and maintain communications and relationships with ease.
Our Team
The Talent team is well established, and each Recruiter brings their own unique approach and ideas to the table. We all work closely together to ensure we remain ahead of the curve of Veterinary recruitment. The Veterinary market is challenging and continually evolving, and we need a Talent Partner to think on their feet and be responsive and proactive with their candidate searching and attraction strategy.
Experience
Experience of recruiting in a niche market or early careers would be advantageous. You will bring effective candidate management, negotiation, and influencing skills along with a creative flair and the ability to prioritise with ease.
Role Requirements
As a Talent Partner, you will play a crucial role in driving our continued success. Your responsibilities will include:
Demonstrated expertise in recruitment, whether from an agency or in-house background.
Strong candidate management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Effective collaboration with key internal stakeholders to implement successful recruitment strategies and address issues promptly.
Commercial awareness and the ability to prioritize workload based on business needs.
Self-motivation, team orientation, and a positive approach to problem-solving.
Excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail.
In-depth understanding of modern demand/attraction/selection methodologies.
