Kaya qualified as a Vet Nurse in 2012 and worked as branch, hospital, referral and charity nurses so understands an array of the different veterinary sectors. She was a deputy Head nurse in a busy London hospital. She currently locums part time and is in her final year of training to be an integrative counsellor.
She is an advocate for wellbeing and is currently a Mental Health first aider. She enjoys singing, cooking, musical theatre, spending time in nature, learning cool stuff and spending time with friends and family.
She is grateful to be a member of the Vets Now diversity board to give back, be of service and offer experience and understanding to others. She is proud to be Black British of Caribbean descendant.
