AS PART of the company’s continuous growth, we’re expanding our out-of-hours service in the Wiltshire area, and are delighted to be opening a clinic in Chippenham in March 2017.
As a result, Vets Now has fantastic opportunities for vet surgeons and vet nurses to take on a new role in emergency and critical care. Not only is it an exciting opportunity to be part of a new team, but you will also be exposed to an interesting and varied caseload, and the work you do will make a difference to the pets you treat.
All roles include a generous CPD allowance, an in-house training programme, and lots of opportunities for career development. At Vets Now, we also encourage a healthy work-life balance by offering flexible shift patterns and have invested in a health and wellbeing strategy for all employees.
Business development director Tricia Colville explains that the out-of-hours emergency service will relieve local practices of the pressure that comes with covering cases during evening and weekends.
She said: “Vets Now provides first class emergency veterinary pet care. This enables the teams in local practices to optimise their work/life balance and takes away the challenge of staffing evenings and weekends.
“We’re now in our 15th year of operation,” Tricia continued. “With 53 out-of-hours clinics across the country and three 24/7 emergency and speciality hospitals, Vets Now is continuing to invest in the training and development of our vets and vet nurses.
“Our aim is to continue providing the highest standards of care to the pets we treat, while also becoming a seamless extension of local veterinary practices’ first opinion service.”
