Vets Now are the UK’s leading provider of emergency pet care, providing a trusted service to more than 1700 veterinary practices – from dedicated out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals. You will be joining a dedicated team of Vets, Nurses, Animal Care Assistants, Receptionists in our 24/7 emergency and speciality referral Manchester Hospital. The Vets Now Pet Emergency Hospital in Manchester provides both a first-class referral service and an out-of-hours emergency service for veterinary practices in and around the Manchester area.

Role Overview

  • First point of contact:
    • Serve as an initial point of contact for clients during emergency situations, whether through calls or in person visits. Including greeting all clients, answering calls, and booking appointments as well as handling financial transactions.
  • Administration:
    • Manage administrative duties in clinic accurately, ensuring the smooth operation of the service.
    • Providing updates to veterinary staff about patients enroute or clients requiring assistance.
  • Client Support:
    • Be a friendly and reassuring presence, offering support and information when clients need it most.
    • Act as a liaison between clients and veterinary professionals.

Week 1: Monday from 18:00 to 23:00

Week 2: Saturday 07:00 to 16:00 and Sunday from 07:00 to 16:00

Week 3: Wednesday from 17:00 to 23:00

Week 4: Tuesday from 17:00 to 23:00 and Sunday from 11:00 to 19:00

Vacancy 2

Week 1: Saturday and Sunday from 18:00 to 23:00

Week 2: Monday and Wednesday from 18:00 to 23:00

Week 3: Saturday from 09:00 to 15:00 an Sunday from 09:00 to 16:00

Week 4: Wednesday from 16:00 to 23:00
