We’ve been waiting for this moment. Our Emergency & Critical Care Congress will be back in person this year, after two years of virtual events. So, we’ve gone bigger and better than ever. This is where we’ll come together, with a refreshed and renewed focus on what we do best – saving pets’ lives.
Together, we’ll learn from the thought leaders in our field. Together, we’ll nurture the wellbeing of both ourselves and our clients. And together we’ll celebrate, with our amazing Winter Wonderland themed gala dinner.
Join us back at The Royal Armouries in Leeds, and get up to 80 hours of Continuous Personal Development at this year’s event, delivered by true ECC royalty. We’ll cover a broad range of subjects across this year’s seven learning streams, from hypo tension and sepsis to breaking bad news to clients and managing mistakes in the media. There’s something for everyone.
We can’t wait to see you there.
Because together, we’ll do great things.
With ECC Congress 2022 fast approaching, why not spend time familiarising yourself with our new congress app. Here you can organise your personal agenda for each day to avoid missing the lectures you are most interested in.
Our app features include some fantastic user-friendly functions such as floorplans, information and exclusive resources regarding our fantastic sponsors and exhibitors, the all-important course notes and full speaker biographies. This year we have been trying to reduce our printing for the environment so all course notes can be found on the app – you can simply add them to your digital congress bag and email them to yourself so you can keep copies!
We hope you enjoy using our app and exploring its features ahead of arriving on-site for Congress.

We’re delighted to have motivational leader and speaker Victoria Gosling OBE attend Congress this year as our keynote speaker.
Victoria is a passionate sportswoman and dedicates most of her spare time promoting sport across various sectors. She is Chief Executive for GB Snowsport, Custodian for the Rugby Centurions and is responsible for creating Social Impact on a global platform through the rollout of the Centurions Future Leaders Course for children aged between 11 and 18.
The core of emergency and critical care knowledge, aimed at vets starting out ECC, as well as appealing to more experienced OOH nurses.
This stream will offer practical, real-world tips and will be especially useful for those starting out in the veterinary profession.
Relevant for advanced practitioners, this stream will offer advanced level lectures featuring our High Intensity Interval Brain Training and Controversies sessions.
It’s easy to forget that we are important too and this stream will remind us of this, offering advice on how to look after ourselves and our colleagues.
New for this year, this stream will focus on the non-clinical team members and skillsets that make the OOH clinic function effectively.
Smaller practical workshops and interactive sessions, allowing delegates the opportunity to participate in their learning.
Covering a variety of topics, including case reports and our famous “The First time I…” sessions.
