Our ECC service explained

In Swindon, we have an established emergency and critical care team who offer a trusted and accessible referral service for critical patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Our aim is to provide your patient with the best possible intensive care and monitoring, and we will always keep you and your client fully informed of progress and options at all times.

They have experience dealing with traumatic injuries, cardiac arrhythmias, respiratory distress, coagulopathies, DIC, toxin ingestion, sepsis and SIRS.

Cases we often see include:

  • Road traffic accidents
  • Excessive bleeding
  • Diarrhoea and vomiting
  • Choking and breathing problems
  • Seizures
  • Suspected poisonings
