It’s our core purpose. It’s in our DNA. It’s all we do.
We’re proud to have helped revolutionise the way emergency veterinary care is provided outside normal surgery hours by working in partnership with local veterinary practices to provide their clients with a dedicated out-of-hours service. At the heart of this is a team of full-time vets, vet nurses and support staff who only work at nights, weekends and bank holidays.
At Vets Now we’re committed to giving people and their pets the care and support they deserve at the time they need it most. It’s our core purpose. It’s in our DNA. It’s all we do.
Vets Now. And forever
- Vets Now was founded by Richard Dixon, a veterinary surgeon who understood the pressures of being on-call which also trying to maintain a good quality of life. Richard still plays an active role in the running of the company and our clinics are all managed by people who have worked as frontline vets or vet nurses.
- Today, almost two decades since Richard did his first out-of-hours shift, we’re still just as passionate about emergency and critical care.
- In an emergency, pet owners want to know they’ve got the experts on board. And so do we.
Discover a work life less ordinary
Joining Vets Now has given me my first sense of job satisfaction since I qualified six years ago, and this has kept me in the profession. We're not only driving improvements in clinical care, we're dedicated to the wellbeing of our staff too, and we're not shy to address the mental health issues within the industry. I'm proud to work here.
