Build your Emergency and Critical Care career around your lifestyle
We recognise a work/life balance is of the upmost importance and this opportunity provides great scope for clinical excellence and career development. As expected with an out of hours provider, the rota pattern will involve 1 in 2 weekends, a mix of weekday nights and a fair share of bank holidays. In addition, we can offer a place on our AdvantEdge programme.
AdvantEdge – the next step in your career
The AdvantEdge programme contains a minimum of 75 hours of free CPD designed and delivered by veterinary. The lectures and practical sessions are delivered by Advanced Practitioners and experienced emergency clinicians at our training facility in Dunfermline. Topics covered include blood gas analysis, managing shock and neurological emergencies as well as practical sessions on CPR and ultrasound. The programme culminates in a cadaver surgery practical followed by six mentored shifts in clinic.
Kick-start your Vets Now career and get paid from day one
We’ll cover your accommodation costs whilst you are on the programme and even pay you to take part – you’ll be a Vets Now employee from day one of the course. The next intake of AdvantEdge is on 20th May 2019, however, there is the option of starting employment prior to the programme commencing.
