AdvantEdge – the next step in your career
At Vets Now we care about the development of our people and that’s why we have introduced AdvantEdge, a two week ECC programme for Vets who posses at least two years post qualification experience. We can offer a place on the AdvantEdge programme alongside a permanent role to give you the best possible stat to your Vets Now career.
75 hours of free CPD designed by veterinary experts
The AdvantEdge programme contains a minimum of 75 hours of free CPD designed and delivered by veterinary experts that will give you the best possible start with Vets Now. The lectures and practical sessions are delivered by Advanced Practitioners and experienced emergency clinicians at our training facility in Dunfermline. Topics covered include blood gas analysis, managing shock and neurological emergencies as well as practical sessions on CPR and ultrasound. The programme culminates in a cadaver surgery practical followed by six mentored shifts in clinic.

Develop your skills with a diverse caseload
We are looking for Vet Surgeons who relish the diverse caseload that ECC naturally brings, especially during busy nights and weekends. We have both full and part-time opportunities across our network of 58 clinics and 3 hospitals in the UK – we’ll be led by you regarding where you want to work.
