Discover a work life less ordinary at Vets Now Preston
If you are looking for a rewarding career in a fast-paced but friendly environment then Vets Now is for you. Our ethos is simple – to give people and their pets the care and support they deserve, at the time they need it most and our Vet Surgeons are vital to delivering this ethos.
Out of hours doesn’t mean working all hours
It’s a common misconception that working out of hours means working all hours. We are confident that you will agree working an average of 2.5 shifts per week as a full time member of the team will provide a great work/life balance. On average you will have 13 days off in every 3 week block.
Recognising hard work is important to us. Our employees are our greatest asset, which is why we offer a first class benefits and rewards package that includes-
- 6.6 weeks annual leave
- Private medical insurance
- Comprehensive CPD allowance
- Membership of employee wellbeing programme
- Pension contributions
- Professional membership fees
- Free holiday accommodation in Arran
- 50% discounted staff pet care
- Death in service of two times annual salary
- Company sick pay scheme
- Company maternity, paternity and adoption pay scheme
- Your birthday as a paid day off.
As well as providing a competitive package of rewards and benefits, we also take pride in celebrating our successes. This includes hosting an annual awards ceremony for those who have exceeded expectations. Clinical staff are also encouraged to attend our annual ECC Congress, the largest in the UK, which features an array of internationally accredited speakers, delegates and exhibitors.
At Vets Now, we are passionate about training and the on-going development of our employees. If this vacancy is of interest and you feel you would benefit from a supported route in to our business then one of the options below may be perfect for you.
