Make a difference and be the Vet Nurse you trained to be
Let’s be honest, working as an out-of-hours emergency nurse is challenging. With unsociable hours and a diverse range of cases a career in emergency and critical care will fully test your skills. Yet with unpredictability comes opportunity. With a Vet Nurse role at Vets Now you will be exposed to cases you simply wouldn’t experience in general practice.
Working nights and weekends? Yes, but it’s still the most rewarding job in the industry.
It takes a certain calibre of Vet Nurse to thrive in the challenging world of emergency and critical care. Out-of-Hours working and the unpredictable caseload can be worlds away from day practice. However, it’s exciting and incredibly rewarding…you’re saving lives every single day.
We are looking for a Vet Nurse who is passionate about ECC and is looking to develop their career within a full-time role with Vets Now. A full-time role is 45 hours on a fair rolling rota which always strives to achieve the best work-life balance for our Vet Nurses. This would not include every weekend.
You will be working every 2nd weekend – which rotate between day-shift and night-shift, varying weeknights and a fair share of bank holidays.
Weeknights are 1900-0900, whereas weekend nights are 1800-0900. Saturday days are 1200-1830, and Sunday days are 0830-1830.
