About the Job

Vet Surgeon

Total package up to £60,000 DOE

A work life less ordinary starts right here!

If you're looking for a rewarding career in a fast-paced but friendly environment, Vets Now is for you. Our ethos is simple – to give people and their pets the care and support they deserve, at the time they need it most and our Vet Surgeons are vital to delivering this ethos.

We have revolutionised the way emergency veterinary care is provided. Since 2001, we have grown to become the UK's leading provider of Emergency and Critical Care, thanks to the dedication and clinical excellence of our teams. We have clinics and hospitals spanning the length of the UK. Our staff work together to share best practice and deliver clinical excellence. As a company, we take pride and integrity in what we do.

Our supportive UK network of emergency clinics and specialty hospitals work in collaboration to ensure that we can offer the best emergency and critical care in the country. Whether it’s sharing best practice or seeking advice on a particularly complex case, regardless of the time, you will never be alone at Vets Now.

Out of Hours doesn't mean All Hours!

Being a full time Vet Surgeon at Aberdeen will involve triage, emergency and lifesaving treatment. No two shifts are ever the same. This role would be ideal for a Veterinary Surgeon who can think on their feet and thrive in an adrenaline-fuelled emergency environment but also fully utilise their time during quieter spells. The shift pattern will involve working an average of eleven shifts a month, mix of day and nights (13.5 hour long night shifts), and will feature one out of two weekends. However, we are open to discussing weekend and shift frequency for the right candidate.
