ECC specialist

We’re looking for a diplomate (ACVECC or ECVECC) or residency-trained clinician to join our emergency & critical care team. Our ECC service is growing year-on-year and we’re looking for an experienced ECC specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Working alongside a small team of ECC specialists, you will be supported by a strong team of residents, interns and vet nurses in addition to our experienced out-of-hours team, many of them being advanced practitioners. The reassurance of having such a strong, well-established team to support lends itself well to a great work-life balance. Working pattern will be agreed to suit the successful candidate.

Surgery specialist

We have an opening for a diplomate (RCVS or ECVS) or residency-trained individual to join our surgery team on a permanent basis. You will be working alongside other residency-trained clinicians and specialists in surgery, diagnostic imaging, ECC, internal medicine and oncology. You will be supported in your discipline by a strong dedicated team of vet surgeons, interns and vet nurses. We also have an outstanding out-of-hours team, allowing us to support you in achieving a sustainable work-life balance.

Our hospital opened in 2009 and, having undergone a £1.5 million expansion in 2018, we have all the facilities you would expect to find in a new state-of-the-art hospital. Our specialists were actively involved in the design of the hospital and the open-plan layout with dedicated ICU, prep area and surgery suite is ideal for the management of our growing caseload.

The role is full-time, however, hours and working pattern will be agreed to suit the successful candidate. Our benefits package includes 6.6 weeks annual leave, generous CPD allowance and private medical care.
