Kirsty graduated with an honours degree in veterinary nursing science from the University of the West of England in 2006 and she became a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) in 2008.
Kirsty has worked in 1st opinion practice for most of her career, working as an RVN, deputy head nurse, clinical coach then head nurse.
In November 2015 Kirsty joined Vets Now in Manchester to work in an out-of-hours emergency role. Kirsty’s particular interests are emergency and critical care, inpatient care and overall feline work. Within the hospital, Kirsty works as an out-of-hours back shift nurse, dealing with the referrals from other vets, any emergencies that arrive at the clinic, inpatients and theatre and anaesthesia when required.
