Who are we?
The UK’s leading national provider of dedicated Out Of Hours emergency veterinary care.
Vets Now is run by Veterinary Professionals for Veterinary Professionals. We work in partnership with private veterinary clinics providing emergency veterinary care for clients at night and at the weekend. By partnering with Vets Now, private veterinary practices are now able to balance the work life of their daytime staff, without compromising the quality of care for clients and their pets.
Vets Now provide a national network of 32 emergency veterinary clinics covering England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The Vets Now service is proven; Richard Dixon opened the first OOH clinic in Glasgow on 1st December 2001. Our national strength is complemented by our local approach. Nationally, we can provide the back up of a central support office and Regional Support Manager to ensure continuity of service from Out Of Hours to daytime. Locally, the Senior Veterinary Surgeon within each clinic has the autonomy to tailor aspects of the service to meet the individual needs of local veterinary clinics.
Our clinics are staffed by our own permanent Vets, Veterinary Nurses and Receptionists who only work OOH ensuring they are fresh and ready to see your client’s pets.
Our dedication to providing the best service for our member practices and their clients is supported by our rigorous ongoing programme of CPD, which every permanent employee enrols in, and our commitment to ensuring our clinics are equipped with the latest veterinary equipment. Vets Now CPD includes the Vets Now Emergency and Critical Care Congress and our On Site Training Programme.
Our business is Out Of Hours emergency care. Our staff are at the core of our service and their commitment and passion is at the heart of our success. Our approach is professional, honest and ethical. That’s the Vets Now way.
