He added; "Our commitment to training and development in Emergency and Critical Care is central to the Vets Now ethos and our activities and the investment in the collaboration between Vets Now and The University of Glasgow is just an example of our commitment to the area. As a former graduate of the Glasgow University Veterinary School, I am especially thrilled to be partnering the University in this initiative and look forward very much to developing our relationship in the future."
The creation of the position comes at an exciting time for Vets Now, which in the past seven years has opened clinics in 30 areas across the UK due to the demand for dedicated Out of Hours emergency care for pets.

We are pleased that Dr Firth will be joining the Vet School in this capacity and we look forward to the positive contribution she will undoubtedly make to the academic team and in the delivery of education in this area to students".
