Informal Interview Evenings

... take a closer look at Vets Now

Our informal interview evenings are the perfect chance for you to take a closer look at Vets Now - speak directly to our Vets and VNs and find out if this might be the career move you're looking for.

Take a closer look at working with Vets Now

During February, March and April this nationwide series of events (see list of locations below) provides the ideal chance to meet with our Vets and Nurses who will tell you exactly what it's like to work for Vets Now; what a role in an emergency clinic really entails, what skills and interests will help you succeed (plus the training and support we'll provide you) and they'll also be happy to answer any questions you have.  So if you're interested in permanent work with us (or even trying us out on a fixed term contract or locum basis) why not come down and meet us.

The kind of people who work for us
Although anyone can attend our informal interview evenings to learn more about working with us, because our vets and nurses usually work sole charge, we can only employ clinicians who meet our minimum requirements.  So we ask that our vet and nurse applicants are fully qualified, RCVS registered and have a minimum of 6 months experience working within an English speaking small animal practice.

You should also be comfortable working sole charge, confident in your clinical ability, and of course legally eligible to work in the UK.  However, you don’t necessarily need to have dedicated Emergency and Critical Care experience. In our opinion, ECC is really about doing good quality medicine well, and of course keeping your ECC skills sharp through ongoing training.
