CPD And Training Events
Overview
At Vets Now we think you should be proud of the Emergency and
Critical Care (ECC) provided by the veterinary profession in the
UK. But we also believe that standards can and must continue
to improve. We are committed to professional development, and work
constantly to develop both our own service, the expertise of our
staff and also to offer flexible and accessible training in
emergency and critical care to the profession as a whole.
We've created a varied programme of training and CPD initiatives
including: Congresses, distance learning courses, lectures,
seminars, one day courses and road shows covering the country. We
have developed the UK's first Certificate of
Veterinary Nursing in ECC accredited by City & Guilds, with
currently around 150 nurses enrolled on the course.
Each November in Harrogate we hold the UK's biggest ECC Congress for the
veterinary profession, featuring an array of expert speakers
from around the world. We are also building on the success of this
event by organising a Crieff 2 Day Small Animal
CPD Meeting on 17th & 18th May 2012.
For one day training courses, our CPD Training
Roadshows focus on specific topics and are held annually in
various locations across the UK.
In addition to all of this, our referrals hospitals in Glasgow
and Swindon offer a programme of evening CPD lectures run by our
Specialists and experienced referral vets.
Vets Now hosts the only Emergency and
Critical Care Congress in the UK and features an array of
prominent ECC speakers.
