Established in 2001 to improve the lives of vets and pets, Vets Now Emergency provides an out of hours Emergency and Critical Care service through our growing network of clinics across the UK. As a forward thinking company, we actively support Pet Blood Bank UK as well as Glasgow University in its development of an Emergency and Critical Care qualification. Our most recent venture is Pet Ambulances which we are rolling out to support all our existing and future clinics. As an expanding company we are looking for likeminded, enthusiastic, passionate and committed veterinary professionals to join our experienced teams to work closely together to provide a highly professional and outstanding level of service.
So what is it like being a Vet for Vets Now?
"Its that feeling when you finish your shift and you know you have really made a difference. I treat Pets that are really ill and handle clients who are very anxious and distressed. When handled professionally and with compassion, I can really make a difference to them." Tobias Grave

Veterinary Surgeons not only take responsibly for leading the staff - and they are pioneers in their clinic to ensure clinical and client care standards are met. The role of our vets is crucial to the running of the local Vets Now service, and we rely on the performance and commitment of this individual. Vets not only lead and manage but this is still very much a hands-on role so you will keep improving your clinical ability too. Our vets work in sole charge alongside a qualified veterinary nurse and receptionist. No two shifts are the same and we provide the best service possible to clients and patients. A career in ECC is stimulating and keeps you moving forward, allowing you to continually develop your skills and experience. Vets Now Woking is based within a referral hospital and the clinic offers excellent facilities with a wide range of the latest equipment. The clinic also boasts a large prep room, 3 theatres, kennels and an isolation unit.
