Our Roles
Locums within Vets Nowprovide telephone advice to clients out of hours as well as the triage and management of hospitalised cases and new emergency admissions. The workload is exciting and challenging, you'll see an increase in acute cases that will keep you think on your feet! Regular work with Vets Now will entitle you to a CPD allowance; this will encourage you to develop your professional skills.
We keep a register of locums who are interested in working for us on an occasional basis.
Veterinary Surgeons:
You must be an MRCVS with at least two years experience with small animals. Experience of out of hours emergency work would be beneficial. You will need to be able to work under pressure and have the ambition and initiative to drive the standards of emergency practice forward.
Veterinary Nurses:
You must be a qualified and listed veterinary nurse; with a high standard of nursing care, some experience of emergency work would be an advantage. You must be reliable, and confident to work on your own initiative.
Veterinary Receptionists:
You must be an experienced veterinary receptionist; with a high standard of client care, some experience of out of hours emergency work would be an advantage. You must be reliable, and confident to work on your own initiative.
