Pet Blood Bank UK reaches 200th Donor
Congratulations to Pet Blood Bank UK (PBBuk), who were visited last week by their 200th donor, Belle, a black and white greyhound. During the recent blood drive, the charity also had a returning visit from Leo the Poodle who made an hour long journey via two buses to donate for the second time. PBBuk was also visited for the first time by a Dalmation.
PBBuk is the first UK charity which will collect, process, store and distribute pet blood, supplying life saving treatment to sick and injured dogs all over the UK.
If you would like your pet to be considered as a donor there are certain criteria they need to meet:
- Donors should have a good temperament,
- be aged between one and eight years old,
